1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to all inquiries, quotes, packages, and services offered through our website
and communications channels by SELF BOOK PUBLISHING LLC. If you do not agree with these
terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
SELF BOOK PUBLISHING LLC (Self Book Publishing) provides author-side support services that may include, but are not limited to, book
editing, proofreading, cover design, formatting and typesetting, publishing setup assistance, marketing
support, audiobook publishing assistance, website development for authors, and related consulting.
We are an independent service provider. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon, Kindle Direct
Publishing (KDP), Barnes & Noble, Google Books, Apple Books, IngramSpark, Kobo, Spotify, or any other
third-party platform. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
3. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate project information, contact details, and materials needed to complete the work.
- Submit content that you own or have the legal right to use and publish.
- Respond to revision requests and approval checkpoints within a reasonable timeframe.
- Comply with the content guidelines and policies of any third-party publishing or distribution platform you choose to use.
- Review deliverables carefully before final approval or publication.
4. Original Content and Ownership
We strive to deliver original work created for your project. Upon full payment and final delivery of
contracted services, you receive ownership rights to the completed deliverables created specifically for you,
unless otherwise stated in writing. We do not require you to credit Self Book Publishing in your published
book.
Source files, unused concepts, internal process documents, and templates may remain our property unless
expressly transferred in writing.
5. Intellectual Property and Manuscript Rights
You retain ownership of your manuscript and source materials. By submitting content to us, you grant
SELF BOOK PUBLISHING LLC a limited license to use those materials solely for the purpose of delivering the
ordered services. You represent that your materials do not infringe the rights of any third party.
6. Images, Media, and Third-Party Assets
Unless included in your package or purchased on your behalf with your approval, licensing fees for stock
images, fonts, ISBNs, domains, ads, printing, or platform fees are the Client’s responsibility. We do not
knowingly use copyrighted assets without proper licensing. Recommended image links or suggestions are
provided for guidance only.
7. Project Timelines
Estimated timelines depend on package scope, word count, complexity, client feedback speed, and third-party
platform processes. Timelines begin after we receive required materials and any applicable payment or
deposit. Delays caused by incomplete information, late approvals, or platform restrictions are outside our
control.
8. Revisions
Revision allowances depend on the package or service agreement purchased. Revisions must remain within the
original project scope. Requests that change the agreed scope, genre direction, platform requirements, or
volume of work may require an additional quote.

9. Payments
Prices quoted are in USD unless otherwise stated. Payment schedules may include full payment upfront or
milestone payments as agreed. Work may be paused if invoices remain unpaid. Chargebacks initiated without
first contacting us to resolve a concern may result in suspension of services and recovery of administrative costs.
10. Publishing Platform Disclaimers
We assist with author-side setup and guidance for third-party platforms. Those platforms independently control
account approval, content guidelines, listing rules, royalties, distribution, and suspension policies. We do
not guarantee platform acceptance, rankings, sales outcomes, reviews, or advertising performance.
11. Marketing Results Disclaimer
Marketing and promotional services are intended to improve visibility and professional presentation. Results
vary based on genre competition, pricing, market conditions, reader demand, ad budgets, and other factors
outside our control. No specific sales, bestseller, or ranking outcome is guaranteed.
12. Confidentiality
We treat manuscripts and project communications as confidential and use them only to deliver your services.
NDAs may be signed upon request for eligible projects.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SELF BOOK PUBLISHING LLC shall not be liable for any indirect,
incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost opportunities, or
reputational harm arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim related
to a project shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that specific service.
We are not liable for losses caused by viruses, third-party platform outages, force majeure events, or
actions of third-party vendors outside our reasonable control.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold SELF BOOK PUBLISHING LLC harmless from claims arising out of content you provide,
allegations of copyright or trademark infringement related to your materials, defamatory or unlawful
content, or your use of third-party platforms in violation of their rules.
15. Termination
Either party may request cancellation subject to the
Refund Policy. Work completed up to the cancellation
date may remain billable. Completed and paid deliverables remain subject to the ownership terms above.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use
of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of
law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Texas, unless otherwise required by
applicable law.
